ICES Hackathon

A quality control tool for length-weight Distribution on board a fishing vessel. Open source testing for catch data entry and calculation errors during fishing! Based on the QCMan Software used in the Marine Institute Fishlab, the R programming language was used to produce a Shiny application with an interactive visual comparison tool to help correct for simple on-vessel mistakes in real time. This should avoid the loss of data in future. This idea was generated and implemented during the 24-hour time frame of the hackathon.
